Autumn is a golden season. In order to enrich the leisure time of the employees of Shanghai Haosheng Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. and alleviate their work fatigue, a team-building activity was specially organized, featuring "visiting the beautiful Wufang, learning about the four histories, and stepping into history". This activity allowed everyone to relax and enhance team cohesion.
After comparison and selection, we chose Wufang Village, located in Qingcun Town, Fengxian District, Shanghai.
Speaking of Wufang Village, it is one of the first pilot villages for rural revitalization in Shanghai.
Stepping into this place with small bridges, flowing water, and homes with pink walls and black tiles, what immediately catches your eye are the white modern Huizhou-style buildings. From time to time, there are some peach blossom-like graffiti on the walls, and each house has its own unique charm.
The entire event began with a light-hearted segment featuring "little squirrels, big trees, hunters, and earthquakes". However, colleagues who made mistakes during the segment were required to showcase a talent, which instantly livened up the atmosphere.
Then the trainer divided all colleagues into two teams, selected team leaders for each, and assigned the activity content: 1. Come up with a team name; 2. Design a team emblem; 3. Write a team song.
After showcasing the team's spirit, the trainer took out an orienteering map and asked the two team leaders to draw lots. The orienteering activity, which involved visiting the beautiful Wufang and learning about the "Four Histories" to delve into history, began.
Rushing to the check-in point, the team members held thick and large brushes and wrote down the word "justice" together.
In the face of challenges, everyone gathered their strength, offered advice, and forged a team spirit, completing the task and earning a five-pointed star to be affixed on the bright red flag.
When everyone completed all the check-in tasks and returned to the gathering spot, waves of delicious food scents greeted them. The trainer said that everyone needed to work hard to ensure a satisfying lunch.
The captains of both teams immediately assigned tasks to their members in a reasonable and orderly manner, with some starting a fire, others cooking, some cutting and preparing ingredients, and others making square cakes.
With everyone's concerted efforts, a table of delicious food was quickly served. The dishes were not only visually appealing but also tasted delicious. Eating lunch that you personally made feels particularly satisfying.
After lunch, take a short break and embark on a five-minute team interaction challenge, consisting of four sub-activities: Team Beat, Stable Forest, Inspiring Heart, and Water Flows to the Channel.
This stage primarily tests the team's cohesion. Initially, due to insufficient collaboration and tacit understanding, we failed multiple times. However, after joint coordination, communication, and cooperation, we successfully completed the challenge.
The joyful time was always fleeting, and the entire event concluded in a harmonious atmosphere. Everyone came to realize the importance of teamwork, and their hearts grew closer, fostering deeper emotions, preparing them better to return to work and production.
